Step 1｜Save the intended monsters in party or reserves

The demo allows recruiting rank G and F monsters; only the selected party/reserve group transfers.

  1. Place the monsters you want in the main party or reserves and save.
  2. Keep the demo and its save until transfer is verified in the full game; preserve an independent copy before any save manipulation.

Step 2｜Use Start New Game when starting the full version

The official listing requires a new start for demo bonuses and sends transferred monsters to the depot.

  1. At the full game’s title screen, choose Start New Game for the intended new playthrough. Preserve existing saves first; do not overwrite a wanted run to test eligibility.
  2. Progress until the depot unlocks.
  3. Check the depot for transferred monsters at level 1/default talents, then add them to your party.

Step 3｜Check the same account and the local demo save

The transfer is within the same platform, with the demo save on the PC and account used for the full game.

  1. Use the same Steam account used for the demo.
  2. On another PC, install the demo and confirm the intended demo save is actually present before proceeding; do not assume a Cloud badge proves successful synchronization.
  3. In the demo’s Steam Properties → General, inspect the Steam Cloud setting. Resolve any conflict only after preserving and identifying the wanted save.

Step 4｜Check bonus eligibility and the additional-content menu

The English store calls the claim entry Check Additional Content.

  1. Open Check Additional Content in the full game’s menu.
  2. For the Adventure Starter Set, confirm purchase by January 5, 2027, 08:59 PST, equivalent to January 6, 01:59 JST.
  3. Distinguish the digital-purchase Hearty Meat Set from the demo’s Wrangler’s Bundle: Ring of Impulse, Bonus Ball and Smoked Sirloins.

Bonus content cannot be claimed in the demo. Do not substitute a newly invented claim method.

Step 5｜Check Windows 11 and actual dedicated VRAM

The store lists at least 6 GB VRAM for minimum and 8 GB for recommended. A GPU family name does not override the capacity condition.

  2. In Task Manager → Performance → GPU, check dedicated GPU memory capacity against at least 6 GB; do not add shared memory.

FAQ

How far does the demo go?

The store says it covers the opening through Witherwood, including recruiting, raising and synthesizing monsters. Only ranks G and F can be recruited.

Do levels, items and gold carry over?

No. Transferred monsters enter the depot at level 1 with default talents. Demo items and gold are excluded.

When does early access start?

The checked Digital Deluxe listing schedules 48-hour early access for December 1, 2026 at 09:00 PST, which is December 2 at 02:00 JST. Confirm the store’s current regional schedule.

Can I use a controller?

The original store review records partial controller support, a recommended gamepad, DUALSHOCK/DualSense support and keyboard play. Partial support should not be read as every menu working without a keyboard.

Does it list online play?

The Steam listing includes online PvP, online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer. That is separate from demo-save transfer, which is limited to the same platform.
