The short answer
The minimum includes Windows 11 and a listed GPU with 6 GB VRAM. A GTX 1060 3 GB does not meet the 6 GB requirement. The free demo can help assess your PC, but is not a guarantee for every full-game scene and its saves do not transfer.
Key facts
- Minimum target
- Windows 11; GTX 1060 6 GB, RX 5600 XT 6 GB or Arc A380 6 GB; 16 GB RAM; 1080p Low at 30 FPS with upscaling.
- Recommended target
- RTX 3060 8 GB or RX 6700 XT 12 GB; 16 GB RAM; 1080p High at 60 FPS with upscaling.
- Free storage
- 60 GB.
- Demo
- Free Steam demo; no save transfer to the full version.
- Release dates shown by the sources
- English Steam lists September 30, 2026; the Japanese guide records October 1. Consult your storefront for the applicable release date.

Step 1|Check for at least 6 GB of dedicated VRAM
The listed minimum GPU variants have 6 GB; shared system memory is not a substitute.
Time: About 2 minutes · Risk: low
- Open Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc, then Performance → GPU.
- Record the model and Dedicated GPU memory capacity; distinguish GTX 1060 3 GB from 6 GB.
- Steam notes that resolutions above Full HD or widescreen use may need more VRAM depending on settings.

Step 2|Check Windows 11
Both minimum and recommended specifications list 64-bit Windows 11.
Time: About 1 minute · Risk: low
- Press Windows+R, enter winver and press Enter.
- Confirm whether the displayed OS is Windows 11.
Results that did not fix the problem help the next reader too.
Step 3|Update the appropriate official GPU driver
A driver problem is one possible cause of immediate crashes or a black screen.
Time: About 10 minutes · Risk: low
- NVIDIA: use NVIDIA App for the driver appropriate to your GPU.
- AMD: use AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
- Intel Arc: obtain the appropriate driver from Intel’s official website.
- Restart the PC after updating and retry.

Step 4|Allow initial preparation to finish
Unreal Engine games can spend time preparing shaders after installation or driver changes. This is a general possibility, not proof that every frozen screen is compiling.
Time: A few minutes · Risk: low
- If loading is progressing, allow several minutes before judging it stuck. Record whether the indicator changes.
- Avoid repeated force-quits during preparation; work may restart next launch. A repeatable error or indefinitely unchanged state needs the other checks.

Step 5|Reduce graphics load one setting at a time
Dense battles may expose limits that quieter scenes do not. Official performance targets use upscaling.
Time: About 5 minutes · Risk: low
- Enable an upscaling option supported by the game and your hardware.
- At 4K or 1440p, compare a lower resolution.
- If offered, lower shadow or effect quality one level.
- Compare an available 60-FPS cap; retain the previous settings so you can undo changes that do not help.
- Steam Library → right-click the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
Results that did not fix the problem help the next reader too.
Step 6|Compare Steam Input for this game
The PC version supports multiple controller types; avoid changing every game’s settings.
Time: About 3 minutes · Risk: low
- Steam Library → Properties → Controller: record the current per-game Steam Input override, compare enabled and disabled, then restore it if neither helps.
- Disconnect extra controllers and test only the intended one.
Results that did not fix the problem help the next reader too.
Avoid
- Do not repeatedly force-quit solely because initial preparation takes time.
- Do not change the demo and full game simultaneously; their behavior may differ.
Important cautions
- Check current official announcements for fixes released after launch.
FAQ
Does a working demo guarantee the full game works?
No. The original review reports matching requirements, making it a useful check, but the store warns that demo elements may differ and its save data cannot transfer.
Can two people play?
The original guide lists offline split-screen for Musou, Free and VS modes. Online two-player support was announced as a post-launch update; that historical plan does not establish that it has shipped.
Do Standard and Digital Deluxe need different hardware?
The requirements are the same. Avoid buying both editions by mistake; the store also lists a separate Deluxe upgrade.
