PC Game Save Locations and Backup Guides

Find game-specific save locations, backup instructions and checks for progress that does not save.

FIRST CHECK

Start with these checks

  1. If saves may be lost or corrupted, preserve remaining local files elsewhere before creating a new save or retrying synchronization.
  2. For a routine backup while the game works normally, exit the game, let the cloud service finish syncing, then close the launcher.
  3. Copy the complete folder to another drive without deleting the original.
  4. Before restoring a backup, preserve the current files separately too.

Try one change at a time and undo it if it does not help. Follow the game’s specific official instructions where they differ.
