STAR WARS Zero Company PC Troubleshooting: Launch, Black Screen and Saves

Separate launch failures, black screens, missing save progress and low FPS using the existing EA support guidance.

Start with the symptom and platform, preserve saves before any recovery operation, and compare one change at a time. Driver and BIOS guidance must match the affected hardware. The Japanese guide’s driver-version threshold is historical, not a claim about today’s newest release.

If the game will not start

Try one change at a time and test the game afterward, so you can see whether it helped.

  1. 1
Restart the PC and launcher, then complete available game and launcher updates.
  2. 2
Repair or verify the game files and record whether the same failure remains.
  3. 3
Compare the current GPU vendor guidance. The reviewed DLSS crash advice calls for a version newer than Game Ready 610.88; that number is not presented as the latest driver.
  4. 4
For affected Intel 13th/14th-generation desktop CPUs, consult the PC or motherboard maker’s stability guidance and exact BIOS procedure. Do not apply this indiscriminately to laptops.
